About Hart's Seafood
Hart's Seafood opened in May of 1981 in Conway Arkansas at the intersection of highway 64 & 65. We lost our lease at this location in June of 1999 and had to close. We had 18 great years at this location. We wanted to stay in this area but there were no buildings available at the time we had to close.
We purchased some property in Greenbrier Arkansas and began remodeling it into a restaurant. Six months after closing in Conway, we were open for business in Greenbrier.
After 4 years of business in Greenbrier, our current building on Harkrider street (which happens to be 200 yards from our original location) became available. We closed the Greenbrier restaurant at the end of January 2003. Two weeks later in February, we opened for business once again in Conway.
All three locations have been very successful because we have the greatest loyal customers. We have several families that have been eating with us since 1981 that had small children in high chairs, and now those kids have small children in high chairs! We have customers who drive over 50 miles just to eat with us and have been doing that faithfully every week since 1981.
We have been in business a long time and one of the hardest lessons we've had to learn is - no matter how hard you try and no matter what you do, not everyone is going to like what we offer but 9 out of 10 people who eat with us come back to eat with us again. There's a slim chance you may be the one that doesn't care for our food, but there's a greater chance that you'll be one of the nine that does.
